The ENKS-2 time correction units use standard NMEA 0183 and SNTP exchange protocols to synchronize servers, workstations and other devices. To synchronize time in telemechanics systems, ENKS-2 supports the C_CS_NA_1 (103) command of the IEC 60870-5-101 exchange protocol.

ESMC-1 media converters are designed to synchronize the time of devices with optical interfaces and support the IRIG-A, IRIG-B protocols or a 1 Hz pulse sequence PPS. The principle of operation of ESMC-1 media converters is based on the conversion of an electrical signal coming to the input via the RS-485 interface into optical signals. ESMC-1 media converters have 6 optical outputs, the time synchronization protocol on the optical outputs corresponds to the synchronization protocol on the RS-485 input.
